30 DAY CHALLENGE DAY 25 5-16 – The Only Thing in the Way of Your Goals is Yourself

What’s stopping you from reaching your goals? Take a second to really sit on this one. Have you been trying and trying to achieve something, but end up at square 1 a lot more often than you’d like? Staying at square one doesn’t get us to the end goal. It keeps us stagnant. It keeps us waiting for the next Monday to roll around. It keeps us saying “after this…” or “once I get this…” or “when I finally feel ready…” That’s us putting our goals off until some future time and date. That’s not getting us to progress closer to where we want to be.

So, really, ask yourself, “What is in the way of my goals?” For me, the answer is myself. I’m sure many of you reading this feel the exact same way. You can’t blame your mom or your brother or that party or the weather. If you want something to happen, you will make it happen. What it comes down to is whether or not you’re willing to step out of your own way to do so.

It’s overdue for me to step out of my own way. I want to feel my best, look my best, do my best, BE my best. The only person who can make that happen is ME. I hope if you find that you too are your own worst enemy, you choose to step out of your own way with me. Let’s actually put our words to action and start becoming the people we want to be.
