I need to chat about how much the weather affects me, my mood, my productivity, my outlook, my food choices, my motivation levels…pretty much everything.
I know I am not alone in this, especially with those like me who come by beautiful weather only certain times of the year.
Waking up naturally to the sun shining literally pushes me to get out of bed and start my day off right. That natural awakening is something else. But even so, when the sun is shining and the sky is blue, maybe a couple of clouds, maybe completely clear, I feel such a good energy that is reflected in how I go about my day and how I project my thoughts.
Warmth is another thing. When the sun is not only shining but warming up the world with that perfect 70-75 degrees, all I want to do is be outside and soak it all in. In warm weather I feel comfort, stability, and just the best vibes.
Living on the East Coast makes that first 70 degree day that much sweeter, although I wouldn’t mind 70+ degrees being the norm around here all year long. Basically, the weather outside plays a role in our internal feelings, and thus influences our external projections. I don’t know about you, but I feel like a better version of myself when the weather is warmer and the sun is brighter because the vibes are higher and I want to elevate to match that.
Here’s to the season of good weather, my absolute favorite. And here’s to the sunny days ahead. Let’s appreciate those days a little more. Those are the days we thrive.
xx,
Kay
