After seeing a naturopath for quite some time now, I’ve taken it upon myself (per my doctor’s suggestion) to switch to a cleaner regimen wherever I can.
It’s crazy that the world in which we live is so toxic to us, whether we realize it or not. It’s even crazier that we aren’t aware of what truly makes up our environment until our bodies force it upon us. Whether it be through a medical condition resurfacing, strange symptoms lingering, or just a clouded mind, it isn’t until our subconscious compels us to open our eyes to all of the triggers that we encounter day in and day out.
The journey of how I got here is as story for another time, so here’s where I am now. I have made a valiant effort to switch out as many products as possible, replacing the toxics ones with cleaner, safer alternatives. There is so much more I can change and replace, but you’ve gotta start somewhere and this is where I’m at today.
I encourage you make simple changes that you see fit. Switching from plastic to glass goes a long way … aiming for natural does wonders. Start small, start somewhere. As long as your start, the effort is there and your body will be thanking you for it. I guess my underlying passion for all this health stuff is that we only have one body. One body that is so unique and pure and sacred. We have to start treating it that way. If you can change just one thing, one thing only, and it can impact your life in a positive way, then what’s stopping you? My body, your body, all bodies deserve to be loved and respected and taken care of. I hope this post inspires you to start prioritizing your health, your well being, and most importantly yourself.
