30 DAY CHALLENGE DAY 29 5-20 – Valuing Time For You

Time for ourselves in a concept that can be so conflicting. But why? It doesn’t have to be.

Valuing time for you and your mind and your health and well being and mental clarity is so important. Sometimes it’s hard for us to make this kind of time. Or we feel guilty for doing so. Or we fear what will come up when our thoughts are all we really have in the moment.

Having time for ourselves should be healing and therapeutic and empowering. It doesn’t have to feel selfish. In fact it isn’t selfish, it’s quite the opposite. Time spent with ourselves is rather selfless because if you take a step back and see the bigger picture, you realize that when you have enough time alone you start loving yourself more and healing whatever wounds have been left open. You start showing up for yourself. And if we can’t love ourselves or show up for ourselves, then how can anyone expect us to do so for them. Everything in this life stems from our individual selves and what lives deep down in our souls. Being able to experience who we truly are on the inside becomes a product of who we are on the outside.

Start making yourself a priority. Start valuing those moments that are solely for you. Appreciate that time and allow it to shape you. You being you is what makes this world go round. And internal time with ourselves creates external outcomes that we are proud of.
